To Edit or not to…is the question

The speaker, a C suite exec, one of the founding members of the 50 year old company was speaking to his new breed of Senior Managers on Winning Behaviors.

I, a graphic recorder was peeled to the wisdom the speaker had to share. His wit and humor was helping me visualize the spirit of his messages.

The session was done. I was delighted with what I could capture, the audience came to the board and were letting the imagery apply the glue on their understanding of the interaction they had with the leader.

I was adding color to the visual, when Mr. Marcom came over and instructed me to change a statement. I have always been open to change but one that is collaborative. This one was down right “arm twisting” that stank of power play…
